Event Details

Join us for the fourth installment of our FAB Kids Art-Tech Series. Together, we will learn the concepts behind how bionic hands work and use them to make music.

We will explore the MyoWare Muscle Sensor, an Arduino-powered, all-in-one electromyography (EMG) sensor, 3D printed prosthetic hands, and the process of using code to automate hand movement.

Learn about using concepts of circuitry, conductivity, and neurobiology to make musical instruments.

Participants will take home a DIY cardboard bionic hand with articulated joints.

The participating instructor is Norma Rivera, a Masters in computer scientist and designer of codes.
