The global COVID19 pandemic has caused many economic disruptions—especially artists, artisans, and designers who are small business owners, sole-proprietors, and self-employed. Fab Lab presents Digital Transformation for Artists Training Series to help strengthen local economies and empower artists with 21st century digital tools in project management, digital marketing, and e-commerce. Each workshop will be led by an industry professional with many years of experience working in the Paso del Norte region.
Brandon Silverstein (DT Workshop Instructor) completed a computer science degree and then briefly worked for a local web development agency before deciding to start his own digital agency, Hello Amigo. Taking after his parents and grandparents, all of whom owned their own businesses, he started Impulse Development. The first Impulse Development office was actually shared with another agency, Viva Creative Group, owned by Armando Alvarez. After a few years of working side by side and referring clients to each other, they merged their businesses into Viva + Impulse Creative Co. As their team grew and their list of services expanded to include digital advertising and content development, we felt it was time to rebrand their agency. Hello Amigo is the result of that growth.
