Welcome to the kickoff event of the Women in 3D Printing – El Paso Chapter.

Join us for an evening of innovation inspiration and networking opportunity for women working at the intersection of technology, economic development, creativity, and community.

For our inaugural meetup, we have a special speaker Amaris Castanon, a field application scientist at biotech startup CELLINK, working in the cutting-edge field of bio 3d printing. Amaris has worked at prestigious and renowned research institutions such as The University of Sheffield (UK), Graz University of Technology (Austria), UPenn (USA), University of Texas Medical Branch (USA), Universidad Autonoma de Mexico (Mexico), Fraunhofer Institute of Applied Optics and Precision and Engineering (Germany), and University of Barcelona (Spain). Her diverse background has allowed her to obtain significant experience in many research fields including those of stem cell culture, biomaterials, and biochemistry –all fields vital to the interfaced environment that 3D bioprinting faces today.
