New handheld CNC router from MIT

The super nerds at MIT have completely rethought the concept of computer-controlled fabrication.  The typical solution is programming a multi-axis robot to move a milling bit through space. Instead, this machine relies on the human hand to position the tool. Magnetic tracking tells a computer where the bit is so it can decide whether the mill should be on or off.
