Please join us for Fab Lab’s 2021 Virtual Fundraiser Luncheon. The goal of this year’s event is to raise funding for our 3D Assistive Device Program with the goal of to promote the use of makerspace tools for improving quality of life for differently able members of our community.

Our 3D Assistive Devices Program in 2020 provided skills training and 1:1 mentorship to teams of high school students enter the Make:able Challenge, an international design contest on assistive, adaptive, and rehabilitative devices hosted by Autodesk and PrintLab. One of the teams from El Dorado High School became finalists in the category of Best Use of AutoCAD (Computer Aided Design).

Your generous support previously has also allowed us to complete production for our documentary short, “Disrupted Borders” (2021) which screened at the 46th Cleveland International Film Festival (Jackson Spalding Audience Choice Award), Philadelphia Latino Film Festival, El Paso Film Festival (Reel South Award, Best Short Film Award), New Orleans Film Festival, and HBO’s Official Latino Film Festival.

*All attendees will receive VIP Gift Bag with local artisanal and gourmet food and beverage items to enjoy as part of the brunch in addition to limited edition art objects, mementos, and keepsakes.
